In the current year, it’s rather easy to take note of people’s ideological positions and their intransigent devotion.

It’s obvious that things are very political —
very politically charged — and we’re constantly being fed a stream of political rhetoric and political grievances.

Because of this, people develop certain belief systems and we frequently talk about the notion of an echo chamber and echo chambers, absolutely exist – particularly online — and they are places where people tend to talk about the things they want to talk about, exclusively.

In these echo chambers, there’s not a lot of crossover with other belief systems, or with people who believe differently than we do, or with those who may have differing perspectives and it feels good to sit and dwell in an echo chamber, because you are presumably sitting there with kindred spirits and like-minded people.

Yet, one of the consequences of the ideological obsessions and the notion of being “plugged in” online, is that a certain form of latent solipism has emerged.

Now when I speak of solipsism, I’m not referring to the philosophical belief that the self is the only thing that exists or the self is the only thing that can be recognized. There’s a modicum of truth to that, of course; your consciousness as an individual, is cut off from the consciousness of another individual. We are inaccessible to each other on some level and how we typically try to bridge that gap is by means of human language. Speech and language are the only tools we have which we can avail ourselves and this is how we communicate the products of our consciousness as individuals. We are essentially cut off from each other in a quite literal sense; trapped in a vat of ourselves, by ourselves and the way we escape that vat — our best attempt, at least, because we never completely or truly escaped the vat — is to communicate with other people.

In doing so, we find commonalities, we find differences, we find interests that we might share and generally speaking, that’s a good thing.

Of course, one of the consequences of
this is that it can lead to ideological rigidity commitments and the danger of so-called echo chambers. In other words, no new information and ideas, no differing perspectives, nor the entertainment of the possibilities of certain held beliefs and perspectives can be corrected or polished.

With that said, I don’t need to go into the
details as to why echo chambers are
generally bad. Sussinctly, there’s nothing new going in and nothing new that’s coming out. This should be self-evident, but
the solipsism I’m talking about is not a
philosophical commitment, but rather a physical byproduct of the environment that we’re living in. A Feminine environment.

Many people have ideological commitments and there are groups and communities online where many of them are echo chambers that people dwell and enjoy being in. But one of the consequences of all this — being plugged in all the time and having your thoughts fed back to you and redirected outwards and back inwards — is that people become truly trapped in their own heads. This manifests itself when these same people, when they encounter others who are not seemingly of kindred spirit or of like mind, become absolutely floored, shocked and sometimes repulsed at the idea that someone might apprehend the world in a different way than they do.

The reason why this is related to the echo chamber is because the individuals themselves exist in this echo chamber of whichever ideological flavor, color or type that governs the echo chamber. They’re not getting external input, so they begin to perceive reality as a reflection of the echo chambers that they’re in. When and if they do venture outside of the echo chamber (be it online or in real life; more likely in real life), what happens is, they are shocked and flabbergasted when somebody does not regurgitate the views they hold dear. The views that they have become accustomed to and specifically the view that they have themselves as individuals — their sofas that they comfortably sit on — their sofas of ideology, they think are threatened. Old slippers as the older folks used to say.

They encounter somebody else and not only are they in a state of shock, they are absolutely aghast at the prospect that someone might believe something different from what they believe or that someone else’s world view is different. Whether minimally different, moderately different, or maximally, is immaterial. This is quintessentially the case with women when their programming is tested or challenged in the slightest of ways.

Men who have adopted the Feminine respond similarly, yet what matters to them is, because the information is relatively new to them, they feel challenged. This is especially the case, when this “new” information isn’t necessarily new, but was not thought of by them, or put into practice; they feel threatened that you pointed out the obvious to them, even though the obvious wasn’t so obvious to them initially.

You see, what happens to these men is that the “new”, “I should have thought about that”, or “I know all that already, but you pointing out what I know already, even though I’m not putting it into practice” information and data, puts holes in the thinly padded echo chambers they have come to be cult leaders of.

Nonetheless, in its varying dimensions, these things have always existed, because humans have been around for a while and as long as there have been humans, people have behaved in various ways, but the particular flavor of solipsism that I’m discussing has only been made possible, due to the existence and perseverance of the internet and internet culture. It goes well beyond the internet, too, because the internet as we all know has massive consequences in real life.

The solipsist (particularly women and feminized men) encounters somebody else of a different persuasion and simply cannot comprehend that there is a person out there that might be different and it’s not just that he cannot comprehend it, he is unable to tolerate it. What follows soon after is censorship, censureship, insults and the general shaming tactics and language.

(I remember back in college, I commented that rape is a “natural abnormality”. The women. The responses from the women — because they are incapable of processing information — demonstrated that my saying that, challenged the doctrines of their echo chamber. What I meant by that was, rape is an abnormality that occurs in nature. I have come a long way since that simplistic way of looking at it and no longer see it that way; rape is flat out, both normal and natural. Rape is “wrong-sex”, or “incorrect-sex” as opposed to “right-sex” which alludes to consent and the absence of force, as is defined by the echo chamber. Both being subjective and merely rules and definitions that are agreed upon within a society, according to the social contracts inherent to said society. There is no “rape” — “wrong-sex” — in nature. This can be seen with other animals and lest we forget, man is an animal. Most of you reading this, will posit that man is “different” etc., and I’ll refer you to what I said before: “…rules and definitions that are agreed upon within a society, according to the social contracts inherent to said society”).

All of this might be a bit odd in theory and many of you may, or may not be aware of the fact that back in the day, prior to the internet, humans would actually meet in person to discuss and exchange ideas. This was and had always been primarily a masculine thing, just like the internet is primarily a masculine vocation. Back in the day, when there were male only spaces — elk lodges, moose lodges and varying intellectual societies — a much greater variety of people were forced to enter an environment for good or for ill in which you had to deal with people, that frankly speaking, were fundamentally different, moderately different and a little bit different. Sometimes similar, but that variation was a given, because the opportunities that arose, whether for social interaction or work-related interaction, were very often dictated by circumstances outside of your control and outside of your immediate agency.

What the internet has done is transform that element, so we have become the agents directing our own desires of social interactions. When the internet was invaded by women, people began to gravitate towards people that they liked, or get along with. Now, we have algorithms that do the sifting and sorting — dictating who we socialize with — while giving us the illusion of agency.

Of course, those are applications online, but in particular, offline we may want to think that the internet has expanded our horizons and enlarged the world that is accessible to us and in some ways that’s true. For instance, I can go on Google and bring up Google maps and look at a tiny street in the city of Kyoto, Japan even though I’ve never been to Kyoto.

These are opportunities that have arisen due to the internet, but the flip side of that is our world has become that much smaller and we’ve become confined far more so than we used to be, to the premises of our own minds. All of this leads to a form of alienation which arguably has never existed in the same form it has taken on today. This is to say, we encounter somebody who’s ideologically distinct from us and we think this person is an actual alien; someone so foreign and so removed from us, that their very existence seems to be phantasmagorical.

Beyond that state of shock there’s also the
accompanying intolerance, because that line of intolerance is then drawn, because the person — the other person — should by definition, not exist. There should be no people who think differently from you as an individual. This is why “common sense” does not and cannot exist. If it did, it would only be to the extent that we congregate with others who all think like us. Therefore, in that sense, “common sense” is solipsistic.

This is the case with most social institutions. They are a reflection of that solipsism. “Other people” become mirror reflections of what one thinks and what one’d like to think. When you don’t encounter that mirrored reflection, you are at once stunned, shocked and surprised and also threatened. This is why I ultimately believe that the hostility which has emerged in recent years between people who otherwise might have gotten along in the past (perhaps not fabulously, perhaps not very well, but they would have tolerated each other) is primarily as a result of women infiltrating the the web space.

Masculine men are not afraid of new ideas and perspectives, neither do they feel threatened when stepping outside of their ideological comfort zone, is required. This is a Feminine trait.

As a result, we have been riven and twain
by many ideological divides. So too, have
our minds been riven and twain and it has become nigh impossible to get along with people, because every difference is perceived as a threat, because people are living and trapped in their own heads, very much like women are.

By its very nature, solipsism does not allow for thought and reflection outside of the self. So, these people who’ve become enamored with themselves and enamored with the mirrors that they hold up to look at themselves, will never entertain anything new, nor would they be open to correction and reproof. Of course they would be threatened. They are brutish. They are feminized.

Here’s the idea: there are certain types of animal species that can recognize themselves in a mirror. Primarily primates, cetaceans, dolphins and possibly elephants. Of course human beings are among these animals. Other animals, however, generally do not recognize themselves in mirrors, although there seems to be some variability between individual animals. For example, if you were to plop a mirror in front of a leopard, in Africa, (this has been done), the leopard thinks that there’s another leopard there threatening him. It’s own reflection is alien and strange; it’s foreign. The same occurs with the solipsist, where the lack of self awareness — the inability to recognize one’s self outside of the self — demonstrates a lack of intelligence. That despite the “other person” having different views and perspectives, they are still human and it is natural that differing perspectives exist, outside of one’s own self.

Essentially, what occurs on that cognitive level with these individuals is, when they do encounter “other people”, you have swapped out their conventional ability to see themselves in the mirror and replaced it with something else that they immediately do not recognize, hence they react allergically.

This is the emergence, not just of modern solipsism that has not existed in its current form ever before, but now a bigger problem to be solved arises — having to be the one willing to bridge the gap. It is similar to first contact with a primitive hunter gatherer tribe.

Yet, when you’re dealing with the solipsistic
nature of so many denizens of the world,
these days and they’re not just unwilling, but incapable of bridging that gap or even wanting to bridge the gap, you really end up being stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Ultimately, what needs to be done, is men need to comprehend the Feminine nature behind solipsism and shun it, for it is stagnating and only serves to dumb them down.
